While at Eston College she was chosen each year to tour with the choir.

After graduating from Eston College in April, 1973, Carol was accepted at Mount Royal College in Calgary, AB, graduating in the spring of 1976 as a Registered Nurse - her passion and dream.  Carol concentrated on women’s health, nursing at the Grace Hospital until it was relocated to the Foothills where she continued her nursing career until she retired in June of 2016.  Carol was well travelled and had many friends.

Messages:

Turner Family, Words cannot heal the pain of losing Carol. Know that we are sharing in your sorrow and lifting you up in prayer. May God grant you and all the family peace during this time.

Carol was my friend. I worked with her at the Grace for many years.I could talk to her about anything and expect a straight answer. When my mother passed she consoled me and told me to take as much time as I need to recover. In these last months we often went out to lunch with some of the other Grace Girls and at Christmas we met at Carol's to celebrate the season. I will cherish that evening when we just sat back and reminisced about all the times we had shared. It was the last time we saw her. Please know how much we cared for Carol and feel how your hearts are breaking. I know she has crossed over to joy and peace and that is a blessing. See you on Wed.
