Joy was born in Innisfail, Alberta on March 12, 1957 and passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021.
Joy went to school in Sundre, Alberta. She adventured to Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver and back to Calgary. When she became ill her family moved her back to Sundre. Joy worked for Listowel Trophies, and also at the Kingsland and Cross Roads farmers market. Joy enjoyed camping, travelling and especially cooking for her family. In 1993, she met Vern Steinbrecker and they married in 1994 residing in Calgary, Alberta. Joy is lovingly remembered by her husband, Vern Steinbrecker; daughter, Sarah Soreghy; as well as five sisters. Joy was predeceased by her parents; an older sister; an older brother and younger brother; as well as numerous uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.Messages:
RIP my sweet friend. Vern and Sarah, I am so sorry for your loss. Joy and I became friends Some 10 yrs ago while working the markets. She had such a sweet disposition and we enjoyed laughing together. She was fiercely loyal, And loved you guys very much. She was the first one to give you a helping hand if you needed it !
