Annie Silvius Webb

Annie Webb was born October 20, 1933, in Calgary, Alberta, the oldest of five. She attended Lindsay Thurber High School, and after worked as a seamstress, a telephone operator and a bank employee, before getting into upholstery.
In 1954, she married Ernest Webb, and the same year, they welcomed a daughter.
She is predeceased by her husband Ernie, her father John, mother Lela, and one sister, Jean Hittel.
She is survived by one daughter, Elsie; one granddaughter, Priscilla; one brother, Allan (Georgina); two sisters, Amy and Pat (Bill); and numerous family members.
Annie loved living on the farm where she always had flowers blooming both inside and outside.
She loved camping and the outdoors, but after losing the love of her life after more than 50 years of marriage, the spark went out of her own life. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to her favorite charity, the Canadian Wildlife Federation, 350 Michael Cowpland Drive, Kanata, Ontario, K2M 2W1 or the S.P.C.A., 4505 - 77 Street, Red Deer, Alberta, T4N 5H3. Memorial Service for Annie Webb will be held on October 12, 2013, at 1 p.m. in the Eckville Legion.
