Messages:

Sincere sympathy in the loss of cousin John. We were planning to attend his memorial, unfortunately, weather did not permit. He is fondly remembered by us. Larry & Elaine Johnson

So sorry to hear of Johnny's death. My heartfelt sympathy to you, Shirley, and your family I do remember what a great sense of humour Johnny had, and I have such good memories of visiting with you and Johnny at your home in Stettler and later, at your home in Calgary. Farewell cousin. Rest in peace.

Doreen has many great memories of Johnny from her younger years and on the few occasions we had to visit with him in our later years were always very upbeat and enjoyable. He will be not forgotten and missed by all who knew him.

Wishing you strength for today and the days to come knowing how much your loved one meant to so many....our thoughts are with you. We had c9many fond memories of Johnny, who had a nic name for all the kid cousins. Ann & Adolf Holzli

Sorry for your loss. Hugs to you all.

Johnny will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. We fondly remember the hundreds of afternoons and evenings that we spent with Johnny and Shirley in their home in Calgary and other homes. Johnny taught us to play cribbage and then soundly beat us most games over the years. He had the uncanny ability to count up your score in about 1 nanosecond no matter how complex the counting would be. Johnny was not just a "shirt tail relative" he was our very good friend. Rest in peace amigo.

We are sorry about Johnny. He always had a happy greeting, a warm smile and a positive outlook. He quietly went about being a good neighbour. we will miss him in the village.
