June 9, 1949 – October 24, 2017

Doug Henderson of Lacombe, AB passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at the age of 68 years. Doug is lovingly remembered by his wife, Linda of 44 years; children, Christa, Kyle (Hilary) and Byron (Orianne); 4 grandchildren, Andrew, Peyton, Elsa and Veda; his mother, Mary; as well as 5 siblings. Doug was predeceased by his father, Don Henderson.

A Celebration of Doug’s Life will be held at the Lacombe Memorial Centre on Monday, October 30, 2017 at 1:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Doug’s memory to the Lacombe Health Trust, PO Box 5563. Lacombe, AB, T4L 1X3 or online to lacombehealthtrust.com.

Linda, Christa, Kyle and Byron...... We are thinking of you all today, we are in California and unable to be with you. We have so many fond memories of travelling with Doug and Linda in Argentina, Mexico and just recently Scotland. Doug was so much fun, so knowledgeable about so many subjects. He was a master at telling stories and he loved telling them. The Angus world has lost one of the good old boys. Doug's name will come up in many future conversations.
