Vera passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital at the age of 77. A loving wife, mother, grandma and friend to many. She will be dearly missed by her loving husband, Gerald Scott, daughter Ella Mae (Willy) and son-in-law Tony Dubitski, three sons: Raymond, Doyle (Randa) and Mervin Simoneau, daughter-in-law Glenda and family, 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, sisters: Joyce, Betty (Marcel), brother Don (Joyce), sister-in-law Joan (Greg), Maggie, Olga and brother-in-law Jim (Darlene) and all Gerald’s family in Saskatchewan as well as many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
Chosen daughters Barb (Darrell), Arla and family, Romona (Harold) and her chosen son Marty and family, two very special friends Sheila and Joan (George) and last but not the least her precious fur baby, her puppy Shadow. She was predeceased by her daughter and son-in-law Sherry Simoneau and Carl Granberg, her youngest son Kevin Simoneau, her parent, 3 brothers, 2 special nephews Roy Brown and James Vanasse (Bimbo) and her 2 dear friends Hazel Fox and Liz Fisher.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 24, 2019 at 1:30 pm at the Chapel of the Salvation Army 4837 – 54 St, Red Deer, Alberta.
