SCHELL, Jean Olive
Jean Schell (nee Metzloff) born March 31, 1933 in Kitchener Ontario, passed away peacefully in Rimbey Long Term Care on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at the age of 86.
Jean married Art Schell in Kitchener, Ontario in August 1953. Following their wedding, they moved to Alberta where they settled near Rimbey to farm and raise their six children.
Jean’s perpetual smile, positivity, optimism, ambition, generosity and love for her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family and community will be remembered by all who knew her.
Jean is lovingly remembered by her husband, Arthur Schell of Rimbey; her sister, Darlene (Don) Bester of Baden Ontario; children, Linda Fundytus (Bradford Armstrong) of Cochrane, Susan (Bradley) Stout of Breton, Bill (Alma) Schell of Rimbey, Kathy (Gary) Curtis of Campbell River BC, Joan (David) Coambs of Rimbey, Mike Schell (Deb Rogers) of Olds; grandchildren, Jeremy (Maegen) Stout of Edmonton, Megan Stout (Olivier Cann) of Edmonton, Adam Fundytus (Shayla Stein) of Calgary, Katrina Fundytus (Mike Levine) of Cochrane; and great grandchildren, Jaden, Ronan and Liam Stout of Edmonton.
A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Margaret’s Catholic Church, 5509 – 50 Street, Rimbey, AB on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 11:00 AM.
