There is nothing I can say that can exspress mine and my families grief over his loss,he was my dad's best friend. From the age of 6 there are so many great memories over the years. Side love your me and my dad will live on. My appreciation for George thoargood always brings me back to driving in that black trick he was so proud of ,to meet my family at Crystal Lake by Fox Creek. His face always reminded me of pre obese elvis lol and his clear blue beautiful eyes were so empathetic. I charished him my whole childhood and ad tears role down my cheeks ,I can only hope he has found peace and everlasting joy . Goodbye my beautiful uncle John my dad will grieve for you and keep loving your memories. If there is a final resting place. Or memorial I'd like to be there .
I'm so sorry to hear about John I can't believe it condolences from Bruce and Lorrie
John was a very sweet person. I worked with him at the Country Roads Saloon in Calgary for quite a few years. He had the best smile and was always such a kind person. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. Condolences to his family and many friends. Sending my live and prayers. Debra and Shane.
I was sad and surprised to see John's obit in the paper yesterday. Even though I never met John, I followed his life through talking with his Aunt Dorene who has been my best friend since we were kids in Lindbergh. My heart goes out to Ron and the family. It's been ages since I've seen you Ron...take care of yourself. Your son sounds like a great guy.
Dear Sheplawy family. We want to extend our sincere condolences to each and everyone of you with the sudden passing of John. We were privileged to know John as he was a member of our church community. He is now safe in the arms of His Lord and Saviour! God bless you all.
Ron. So very sorry to hear about Johns passing. Take Care
Our family is so saddened by the news of John's passing. We have known him for probably over 30 years. He used to help my brother Dave Smith out at the race track, he's gone on racing trips with him and he has worked for our family business. Always a smile for everyone, just a lovely person. If you could please let us know when there will be a service we would appreciate it, as would like to pay our respects. Our sincere condolences. The Smith and Srahulek families
I'm saddened to learn of John's passing. He was the first friend I ever had, way back in grade 1. I have so many wonderful memories of us ice-fishing with his grandpa, driving around in the 'gutless Cutlas', working together at Mills Haven Mohawk, and enjoying the Sheplawy family (Ron, Doris, Lori, and cousins Kelvin and his sister - apologies as I cannot remember her name). John was so well-liked by my family even my siblings that hadn't met him remember hearing about this fun-loving guy that endeared himself to my mom by calling her 'Farmer'. He came up with the phrase 'bald-haired' for which we all laughed. So funny! May he rest in eternal peace knowing many adored him and valued him as a friend. With much love, Elaine
My condolences to you Ron and family on John’s passing. What a shock. Love and prayers going out to all that knew him. Cousin Jan ( Juanita Sheplawy’s) daughter
