Donna Mae Kindle

Born - June 13, 1946 in Camrose, Alberta

Died - August 31, 2021 in Red Deer, Alberta

Donna passed away peacefully in her home with her husband and children at her side. Donna was born on June 13, 1946 to the late Irvin and Irene Cox of Camrose, Alberta. She was raised in California, where she became an accountant after high school and found the love of her life, marrying Jim Kindle on November 28, 1968. In 1971, they moved to Canada, where she held a variety of jobs, but her biggest role was being the wife to Mister Pester and mother to an awesome son and 3 OK-ish daughters — guess who got last edits? :-) She enjoyed being an unofficial Armchair Manager/Statistician for the Toronto Blue Jays. She loved family camping trips and visiting with EVERYONE, either on the phone or in-person. Really she would talk anyone’s ear off!

Donna is lovingly remembered by her husband, Jim and her children, Kevin (Amanda), Deborah (Jim), Jennifer and Christine. She is also survived by her brother, Floyd Cox and a host of grand-children, great-grand-children, nieces, nephews and cousins. Donna was predeceased by her parents, Irvin and Irene Cox, her brother, Allan Cox and her sister, Joyce Nichols.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Silver Creek Golf & RV Resort, 45314 AB-21, New Norway, AB, T0B 3L0, (https://silvercreekgolfcourse.com) on Sunday, September 19, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. I love you mama, I miss you so much.

I never met Donna but got to know her through Jenn. I heard about her love for camping, trips to California and stories about her cat! Through those stories I could hear how much she loved family, how much she loved being with her family and how much they loved her. My deepest condolences to your family.

May your family be comforted by memories of Donna, wife, mother, and grandmother. Loss is never easy, but perhaps this poem might help to ease some of the burden for just a moment. Celebrate – Author Unknown Weep not for me though I am gone Into that gentle night Grieve if you will, but not for long Upon my soul’s sweet flight I am at peace, my soul’s at rest There is no need for tears. For with your love I was so blessed For all those many years. There is no pain, I suffer not, The fear now all is gone. Put now these things out of your thoughts In your memory I live on. Remember not my fight for breath Remember not the strife Please do not dwell upon my death, But celebrate my life.

So sorry too hear about the loss of Donna. She will be sadly missed. She is resting now and will be touching everyone’s hearts. Rest In Peace your struggles are over.

Donna was my aunt and was loved dearly. I think she enjoyed her visits here to California, and zeroing in on things she could get, not available in Canada. She loved to talk (brag) about her children and grandchildren. ❤️ I enjoyed our visits. My aunt Orena and I got to surprise Donna and Jim on their 50th Anniversary camping weekend in 2018 and had a blast catching up with family. We miss you already! Much love❣️

Love you always grandma.

Our condolences to the family. Happy to contribute to STARS.
