Elizabeth (Beth) Kostur, late of Regina, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at the age of 82 years. Beth was born in Scott, SK on October 16, 1931 to Peter and Eva Duchscher. She was predeceased by her parents, her first husband Anthony Mantesso, her sister Lena, and her brother William. Beth is lovingly remembered and will be greatly missed by her husband Bud Kostur and his children and grandchildren; her daughter Brenda (Daryl) Nelson and their children Janine (Brandon) Chay (great grandchildren Owen and Mackenna) and Amy Nelson; son Arnold (Cheryl) Mantesso and their children Jaime and Tyler; her brothers Karl, Ed, and Norbert Duchscher; her sister Delorus Brick; and numerous other relatives and friends. Dancing, berry picking, fishing, and watching the Saskatchewan Roughriders were her favourite pastimes. She always loved to sew, and quilting became her passion until macular degeneration affected her vision later in life. Her family was her world, and when great grandchildren came into her life she was overjoyed. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 11:00 am in Holy Family R.C. Church, 1021 McCarthy Blvd. N., Regina, SK with Very Rev. Brad Fahlman, VF Celebrant. Interment will follow in Regina Memorial Gardens. Flowers most gratefully declined.
