Evelyn Ida Roset

Evelyn Ida (Morgenstern) Roset passed away peacefully at Regina Wascana Grace Hospice on Monday, May 5, 2014 at the age of 88 years. Evelyn was born and raised near Kincorth, SK. In 1947 she married Rev. Chester Roset. Together they pastored Churches of God in Heward/Wordsworth/Benson, Moose Jaw, International Bible College (Outram), North Portal, and Swift Current. After Chester’s death in 1965, Evelyn moved her family to Moose Jaw where she later worked as bookkeeper at International Bible College for almost 20 years. In November, 2002 she moved to Regina where she resided at First Baptist Place until her death. Evelyn is survived by her sisters-in-law JoAnn Morgenstern, O’Della Driedger Giesbrecht, Gladys Roset, brother-in-law Ted Roset; children Elaine (Harold) Douglas, Laurie Koepke, Cheryl (Donald) Ulrich, Bryan (Sharon) Roset, Michelle (Dave) Mauer; grandchildren Hal (Denise) Douglas, Matt (Erin) Ulrich, Wade Ulrich (Jamie Robinson), JC Ulrich (Janae Collinge), Mark, Daniel, and Roman Mauer; great grandchildren Hannah and Harry Douglas, Ronnie Robinson. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2014 from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. in Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services, 1265 Scarth St., Regina, SK. Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 9, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. in Kings Corner Church of God, 2110 King St., Regina, SK. with Rev. Brett Blair and Rev. Jack Bridal officiating. Interment in Rosedale Cemetery, Moose Jaw, SK. Flowers are gratefully declined. Roset Families. So sorry to hear of your Mom's passing, she always was such a sweet gracious woman. She put in many years of service for her Master, and you can be very proud of that.
