Jennie Shewciw, late of Regina, SK, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2014 at the age of 84 years.  Jennie was predeceased by her husband Steve; parents Harry and Mary; siblings John, Alex, Mike, Anne, and Betty.  She is survived by her daughter Elaine (Paul) Brunette; grandchildren Tara (Mario) Gaudet, Kerri (Bryce) Van Loosen, and Kurt Knoll (Aiden); great grandchildren Emily and Caleb Gaudet; sister Nettie; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.  Special thank you to the staff at Palliative Care in the Pasqua Hospital for their care given to Jennie.  Private Family Service will be held.  Flowers most gratefully declined.  Friends so wishing may make donations, in Jennie’s memory, to the Regina Palliative Care Inc., 4F – 4101 Dewdney Ave., Regina, SK S4T 1A5.

Very sorry for your loss Elaine & family. We found Jennie so lonely & didn't seem to have much will to live when we saw her. Its maybe better for her now. It had to have been hard being the only child to keep visiting her & attending to her needs. I see its a family funeral so not sure if you had the burial assuming in Raymore with Steve.
