It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Nelda Svetkov on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at age 83 years.  She was predeceased by her parents Michael and Dora; brother Andrew Svetkov; sister-in-law Shirley Svetkov; sister Stella Leo; brother-in-law Byron Leo.  Nelda is lovingly remembered by her neices  Signe Muise ( Joe, Erin, Kayla Beaudin, Mike Beaudin and Jordan Beaudin), Aileen Leo, Willadean Leo, Lori Geortz ( Loren, Samantha and Danny), Crystal Kerr ( Jim, Josh and  Sarah Seibert), Coleen Collinge, ( Hal, Brandi, Kenny and Kloie and Keith Beaudin); and nephew Michael Leo.   Fiercely independent and overly generous she was a wonderful sister, aunt, and friend.  Her nieces and nephews were the light of her life.  At Nelda’s request there will be no service.  Flowers gratefully declined, however donations to the Regina Humane Society may be made in her honour.

While I haven't seen Nelda in quite a few years, I will always remember her compassion for pets, her love of Chihuahuas, and her tenure on the board and auxiliary of the Regina Humane Society, where I met and volunteered with her. She was a good lady. ~ Debbie Sentes (Doering)

I was so surprised to read of the passing of Nelda in the paper, she was a great person, as well as a wonderful neighbour in Killarney Village. We where neighbours for 9 years and enjoyed having a cocktail together now and then !!!!!!!! She will be missed by her family and friends. Prayers and Thoughts are with her family at this time.
