Adam John Wolkowski

February 25th, 1984 ~ March 23rd, 2014

It is with extreme sadness we announce the sudden passing of Adam John Wolkowski. Adam was born February 25, 1984 in Regina.  He attended MacNeill Elementary School, Winston Knoll Collegiate, and SIAST. Adam was a well-respected, multi-ticket journeyman welder and had been employed at Balzer's. He was an avid snowboarder, long-boarder, motorcyclist, painter, car enthusiast and movie buff. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles; Cheryl and Kevin Gabel, Rose Ann and John Reitmeier, Diane and Gord Chadwick, Fiona and Isaac Dib, Kevin Cholerton, and Clive and Margery Cholerton as well as his cousins; Leigha and Kayla Gabel, Jessica and Stephanie Reitmeier, Melanie, Brendan, and Preston McKenzie, Daniela, Liam, and Isabel Dib and Evan Cholerton. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 29th at All Saints Anglican Church, 142 Massey Road, in Regina. Messages:

Dale and Susan and family. I am so saddened for your loss-words can not say. Susan you were always so supportive and caring of everyone on staff as well as the students at WH Ford. I think of you often and my heart and prayers go out to you and all your family. Deepest sympathy.

Susan, Dale, and Jared You have been through so much and it doesn't seem fair that this should happen again. We are so sorry for your loss. You are such dear friends and we have such wonderful memories. My little buddy is gone and I can't help thinking of the days when I babysat him. He was so sweet. He was my little friend and brought so much joy to our family. He had the cutest dimples and his smile lit up the world. We are so proud of his accomplishments and now Adam and Kent are together. We pray you find the strength to get through this. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

It was with extreme sadness that I received notice of Adam's recent passing. I taught Adam in Commercial Cooking grades 9 to 12 at Winston Knoll Collegiate. I was impressed with Adam's high energy level, his intelligence and his always present wit. I thoroughly enjoyed teaching him. He was the quintessential teenage boy, full of fun and great ideas. To lose a young man of his abilities is a sad time for all of us. My sincere condolences go out to his family members and close friends. I will cherish the fond memories I hold of him. Sharon Lewchuk (A.K.A. by the students as "Little Debbie".)

Dale, Susan and family, I don't know you other than the great words Adam spoke of you throughout our 6 yr friendship... but in the few short years I knew Adam I watched him take his career from a extremely hilarious apprentice to an amazing and successful journeyman! Adam and I shared a lot of the same artistic interests, and talked almost weekly when we weren't working together about how he should get into metal art with his talents... Adam touched all of us, immediately... and will never be forgotten! My condolences and prayers go out to you, all your family and friends

Susan, Dale and Jared and Kent: We were really upset when we heard of Adams death. It is the most terrible tragedy to happen to a family. In such a close family, it really is a family crisis. We send our. Deepest sympathy to you, the grandmothers, aunts, uncles and cousins who would all be affected. We always remember the two little cousins at their christening, lying together in the crib - Adam and Preston. We wish you all peace. Love from Lois and Hugh

Susan, Dale and family, I was deeply saddened when I read the passing of your son. When Lane was your student at WH Ford, you were so supportive when he was struggling, offering best advice, as a mom of boys. I am heartbroken that another family has to travel this journey of loss. With Lane’s passing only 7 months, I continue to go on, one second, one minute, and one hour, one day at a time. I offer you comfort in the days ahead, from one broken heart to another. Wanda Campbell mom of Lane Antosh
