Linda Barbara Frei

Linda Barbara Frei (nee Horning) was born in Weyburn, Saskatchewan on February 20, 1948 and passed away peacefully at the Regina Lutheran Home on November 25, 2015 with her family by her side. She was predeceased by her parents Peter and Mary Horning; sisters Maxine Hagel and Shirley Gilbertson. Linda leaves to cherish in her memory her loving husband of 49 years Robert Senior; son Bob (Lisa) and their sons Taylor and Tristan; daughter Tracy (Mik) Nostbakken and their son Ty and daughter Bergen; daughter Marlie Frei (Scott) and son Jacob and step-children Cody, Brooke, and Ashley Williamson; brother Alan (Heather) Horning; sister Deborah Flegel; as well as numerous extended family and friends. Linda's life was all about her family and she loved nothing more than getting everyone together for the holidays and always took this opportunity to spoil her grandchildren. Linda had a deep passion for gardening, animals, and enjoyed all of the wonders that nature had to offer. Linda will be sadly missed by all who knew her. A SERVICE TO CELEBRATE LINDA'S LIFE will be held on Monday, November 30, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Church, 5020 – 7th Avenue, Regina, SK. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in Linda's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan, 301-2550-12th Avenue, Regina, Saskatchewan, S4P 3X1 or the Regina Lutheran Home, 1925- 5th Avenue N., Regina, Saskatchewan, S4R 7W1. The family would like to extend gratitude and appreciation to the staff of the Regina Lutheran Home for their compassion and care of Linda during her short stay with them.
