Eileen Williams

Messages:
I came to know Mrs. Williams when I was a student at Grey Nuns Hospital and she was Head Nurse on 1C the eye clinic ward. As students we were scheduled to begin our rotation on her ward and being summer holidays, she kindly sought us out to ask some of us if we had preference as to the shifts we worked over the summer. It was almost unheard of, back then (1960's) for a Head Nurse to seek out lowly students to ask such a thing! I have never forgotten her kindness then or when we worked our rotation on her ward. May I offer sincere condolence to you, her family on her passing. Happily our class is celebrating our 55th anniversary from graduation at Grey Nuns this next weekend with our alumnae that meets every September. It was the kindness and caring of nursing mentors like Mrs. Williams that certainly helped all of us along the way to graduation and fulfilling nursing careers. Sincerely, Carol Schroeder.
Randy and family Sorry to hear the news of your mum
It was with sadness that we learned of Eileen's passing. On behalf of the RGNH Grads, please accept our heartfelt condolences. Her name will be added to the memorial list which will be read at our Alumnae luncheon nest weekend. With Sincere Sympathy, Linda Bachmann (on behalf of the RGNN Alumnae)
