Gary William Saxby

It is with deepest sadness and regret we announce the passing of Gary. Gary passed with his wife Angie and children by his side. He is survived by his wife Angie; children Jacqueline (Jeff Brown) and Robert (Kimberley) and Gary’s greatest blessing of grandsons, Jasper and Jude Brown, Rory and Madden Saxby.
He will be missed by his father George Saxby and his sister Leanne (James Hoffman) and their families; his mother-in-law Lorraine Sebastien and the Sebastien extended families.
A Celebration of Gary’s Life will be held in the spring/summer of 2021 to accommodate all who loved Gary and we can all be together. A full obituary will follow at that time.
The family would like to Thank everyone for their love and support in this difficult time.

We wish to express our condolences to the entire family during the sad loss of Captain Saxby. Gary and I have known each other for over forty years because of our passion for the Canadian Cadet Organization. Gary was know to hundreds of cadets and officers and will be remembered by hundreds. We have truly lost a great man.

I knew Gary from school since we were about seven and he greeted everyone with a big smile even then, and always since. It was always good to run into him over the years at work or often selling tickets for the Cadets at events. Gary was a stand-up guy and will be missed. My sympathy to his family and friends.

Deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to the Saxby family. As one of his cadets starting 20 years ago, Gary was a huge influence during my teens and on my eventual career path. I know there are hundreds of men and women around Regina and Canada who could say the same, reflecting the truly immeasurable impact of a life of service.
