I have many fond memories of uncle Nestor visiting and staying with us on the farm. He never missed a holiday or long weekend and always went home with mom's care package of perogies and cabbage rolls. He was always so kind and caring to all of our family. Over the last 10 years, Graham and I have nice memories of visiting him on McIntyre Street and at Parkside and will miss the outdoor visits over coffee. He was always so gracious for the simplist of things. "Vichna Ya Pomyat" Uncle Nestor, may you Rest in Peace. XXXOOO
I’m glad that I had the opportunity to meet Uncle Nestor years ago hunting moose, he will always be remembered as a kind gentleman, friend, rest in peace Nestor
I remember him as a kind hearted uncle who was good to us and we looked forward to his visits on the farm. He loved to come out hunting with all of his nephews and gave a hand with anything that needed to be done.
Uncle Nestor lived with us for about 2 years after he left the Air Force. He was a kind and gentle soul and did not like any any disagreements. He was a born again Christian after he went to Regina and was very proud of that. Vichnaya Pamyat to the last of the Original Evanochko clan.
Uncle Nestor and I enjoyed many hours together hunting year after year when he would visit us on the farm. Sadly we didn’t see him as often after our father passed away and I moved with my family to Alberta. Forever in our hearts! RIP Uncle Nestor!
Uncle Nestor was a kind loving person. I have many memories of him coming to visit us on the farm. Rest in peace Uncle Nestor.
Uncle Nestor was a kind, gentle soul. He became part of our lives more after Dad passed where I got to know him more. We sent many letters back and forth over the years and I cherish those lovely letters that always ended with a positive message or word of advice. Rest in Peace Uncle Nestor ❤️
