It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Rose Marie Frischholz after a lengthy battle with Diabetes and Kidney disease.
She grew up in Minton Sk. After graduating from Gladmar High School she moved to Regina and enjoyed a long career at SGI. Her passions included travel, reading, ball room dancing, fashion, her work at SGI and family.
She was predeceased by her parents Mary and Joe Frischholz, her sister Marion Reiman, brothers Conrad and Tony Frischholz, and brothers-in-law Jerry Schaefer and Oran Reiman. She is survived by her sister Margaret Schaefer, brother Leo (Pauline), sisters-in-law Theresa and Donna Frischholz, 21 nieces/nephews and 43 great-nieces/nephews and 23 great-great-nieces/nephews. Rose Marie shared her parents with her siblings, nieces and nephews and a lot of fun was had on the farm and when she moved into Minton. Holidays, special events and good times were celebrated by all. Rose Marie travelled to Europe several times. She also travelled to the Cook Islands, Canary Islands, Anguilla the U.S.A. and within Canada. She loved to design, draw, purchase and wear fashions. She was very detailed and meticulous in her career and life. Her penmanship and organizational skills were second to none. She had a very eclectic wardrobe including shoes, purses, sunglasses and jewelry. She was a wonderfully intelligent conversationalist and will be greatly missed by all.
A date for a service will be planned later. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Diabetes or Kidney foundations.

My Deepest Sympathy to RoseMarie's family and friends . RoseMarie and I were "coffee buddies" for many years, while working at SGI downtown. RoseMarie was a very special friend. I will miss her very much.
To Rose Maries family, my sincere sympathy to all of you, cherish the memory you have of Rose Marie & celebrate her life, she will be remembered as a caring person to everyone she came in contact with .
Rose Marie and I shared a hospital room recently, which gave us the opportunity to share one another's life stories. She was a great story teller and took joy in travels by others when she was no longer able to travel herself. Please know that Rose recalled an idyllic childhood and deep family affection. She had an amazing memory and could detail most any circumstance of her life with clarity. Do keep her memory alive with stories, pictures and tributes. She would love that more than anything. Warm wishes to her family from Sharon Dunsmore
I work at SGI and, though I never worked directly with Rosemarie, I often benefited from her knowledge and willingness to help. As well, we used to get off the bus and pick up Tim Horton's coffee and walk the rest of the way to work. During those walks, we had so many great conversations. She was a good listener, someone I trusted, and she had such a kind and wise way of looking at the world. I am deeply saddened by this loss, but so glad I had the chance to know her.
I am pleased to read that Rose Marie's interment will be at her beloved Minton. Warm wishes to her family. I join you in celebration of the joys she experienced and memories she made.
