Ana Luisa Gonzalez

 It is with great love and sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Aunt and Friend Ana Luisa Gonzalez on March 1, 2022 at the age of 90.

 She was predeceased by her parents Heriberto and Maria Tomasa; her sisters Violeta, Carmen and Susana; her brothers Edilberto, Placido, Jorge and Sergio.

 Ana Luisa will be lovingly remembered by her husband Gustavo Gonzalez; her daughters Anabelle Gonzalez Domarchi and Susana (Ruben) Valdes; grandchildren Nicolas (Rowelyn) Fuentes, Ana Maria (Claudio) Loyola and Bruce Valdes; great-granddaughter Valentina and another on its way; Ana's loving sister Gloria Domarchi and numerous nieces and nephews.

 Ana Luisa was born in Linares, Chile. She came from a large family and had hard-working parents who worked the land. She worked at the Ministry of Education before immigrating to Canada in 1975 with her husband and two daughters. She worked hard to make a new life in this wonderful country. She was always appreciative of every opportunity she had here. She made this life her home, never the less she yearned for her homeland where she went for visits through the years. She loved life and people. Sunday suppers with family and friends were a must at her home. Ana loved singing and dancing and she had a passion for writing and wrote some beautiful poems. Ana also enjoyed water colouring.

 Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 1021 McCarthy Boulevard North, Regina, Saskatchewan. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorial donations may be made to GRUPO de LINARES, an institution that works with the elderly, and homeless of her beloved city in Chile.
