It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Cecil Hodge (Sauce) mourn his passing on July 30, 2022. He fought a brave battle with cancer and is now finally at rest.
Cecil was born in Georgetown, Guyana on September 8, 1943 and was the 8th born of 13 children. He moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada in 1971 and resided there until moving to Regina, Saskatchewan in 2002.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Laurie; his children Tiffany and Tyler; his sisters Sylvia (Eon), Cyntherene, Thelma; his brother Jerrick: his mother-in-law Marg; sisters-in-law Hortense, Myrna, Connie (Rodney) ; several nieces and nephews and great-niece Victoria (his Queen); numerous cousins and family; special Bushell family and all friends.
We will remember his love of family, friends, dominos, music and dancing.
He was a caring and gentle soul to all whom knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Cecil in the coming weeks.
The family wishes to send a special thanks to all doctors and nurses at the Allan Blair Cancer Centre, Regina, SK as well as the staff and doctors at the Regina Pasqua Hospital Unit 3A for their care and compassion during this difficult time.
