William Lutz
October 23rd, 2022
We had to say good bye to our precious husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, uncle and friend. William (Grandpa Bill) Lutz leaves behind his loving wife Patricia Lutz. He will never be forgotten and will be in our hearts forever. He is now reunited with all his siblings and his parents.
Bill was born on a farm just outside of Colfax, SK approximately 40 km north of the city of Weyburn, SK. They relocated a few times to finally settle just outside of Lipton, SK. Bill was the youngest of 8 children.
Bill was very musically talented and played several different string instruments. He also spent Sundays and long winter evenings with his older brother Fred and the Seip, Bordass and Nevard boys, playing their musical instruments and later even played for some of the dances held at Headlands School.
The other hobby Bill loved was buying homes and renovating them, he even renovated a few of the places that he rented. Bill and Pat enjoyed several years living in some of the small towns in the Selkirk Mountain range.
A Celebration of his Life will be taking place on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at the Lipton Community Hall, 203 Watson Street, Lipton, SK at 11:00 a.m. with the interment and lunch to follow. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations in William’s memory may be made to Telemiracle, 2217C Hanselman Court, Saskatoon, SK S7L 6A8 (www.telemiracle.com).
