Wyatt Vincent Rathgeber
April 23rd, 2022
Wyatt Vincent Rathgeber was born on July 24, 2020 in Regina, Saskatchewan. He was born with severe microcephaly, later found out to be caused by a double gene mutation on his DARS2 gene causing LBSL, a rare disease that he spent his whole life battling. He was a tiny warrior and surpassed all doctors' expectations of him. Wyatt loved baths, soft blankets and getting cuddles. He enjoyed going to daycare and spending his time in his spot in his special bed. He was a special little boy who knew nothing but love in his short little life. He struggled with his lungs and feeding, but had the strongest little heart right until the very end. Although he required a lot of care, he was well loved by so many people. His squishy little cheeks and his long wild curly hair will never be forgotten and in his time gained the love of thousands of TikTok fans.
Wyatt passed away on April 23, 2022 peacefully in his Mom and Dad’s arms. He is survived by his Mom and Dad Kendall and Dylan Rathgeber; his Brother Arlee Rathgeber; his Nana Tara Abstreiter; Grandma and Grandpa Jo-Anne and Greg Rathgeber; his Aunts and Uncles Kelsey and Kyle Silzer, Aleigha and Mathew Bertsch, Kaitlan Rathgeber and Jordan Erbach, Kirsten Rathgeber and Juan Teichroeb; Cousins Myles and Brynlee Silzer; Great-Grandma Janice Abstreiter; Great-Grandma Anne Dube; Great-Nana Arleen Monckton; as well as various friends and extended family. He was predeceased by his Grandpa Darryl Abstreiter; Great-Grandpa Martin Abstreiter; Great-Papa Vincent Monckton; Great-Grandpa Roger Dube; Great-Grandma and grandpa Jean and Fred Rathgeber.
