Peggy Stoyand

June 11th, 2022

We, the Stoyand Family would like to tell the world how fortunate we were to have had our Mother, Peggy Stoyand, with us for our whole lives.

Peggy passed away, to be with our Dad, Louis and our brother Bob, on June 11, 2022.

She is survived by her son Edward, (Ted), and her daughter, Colleen and son-in-law Dennis. (Her first son Bob, predeceased her in 2020). Bob’s family – wife Carole, their two sons, Mike & (Kelly), Bob & (Tracy), and Great-Grand Kids, Summer and Bobby. She is also survived by her sister, Jean, and “The Twins”, Don and Doug and their families.

Peggy was the energy and the glue that helped our family on our journey in life. Her generous nature was shown by the way she shared everything she had to make other people’s lives as easy as she could. When she won at the Moose Jaw Casino, she made sure those who were with her, each got a big share of the prize.

Peggy and Louis had an adventurous life farming at Bethune and moving to Regina in 1965. They enjoyed numerous bus trips to see Canada and Peggy became the tour guide after Louis passed away. She enjoyed “The Cottage Life” at Buena Vista for 15 years and made many friends in the area.

Always ready for a new adventure, Peggy will be missed by all who know her.

A private family interment will be held in the Findlater Cemetery.

Memorial donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
