Rest in peace Zen You were my first boss and friend. Always upbeat and funny, you will be missed
Our condolences Darren (Tammy), Darcy and Derrick on the loss of your dad. Trudy and I have so many fond memories working along side your mom and dad for many years at St. Charles, janitorial service/buildings and grounds. Trudy and Cliff Geiger
So sorry to hear about your dad. We had many good times and bbq’s with your mom and dad at The Heartbreak Hotel at Regina Beach! Sending our condolences.
To all off Zen’s families. Zen was one of the most funny, crazy and kind people I have met, like all the Yurkiw family. Living in Eastview I was so blessed to meet all the Yurkiw siblings who are all like my second family to me and became close friends, and Adele and Zen would help out with whatever was needed in the community and Zen to entertain us all. Zen doing his Elvis performances and for a while I joined in with him as his dancer at birthday, retirement parties and weddings and had so much fun. The bbq’s or Xmas parties, even not being family and always included myself and my boys. RIP Zen and say hi to Adele, Debbie and Mary for me.
Our Condolences to all of Zen's family and friends. Zen was a character who would always make everyone feel comfortable, he adored his family and could tell a story that would make you laugh until your ribs were sore. I hope that sadness that everyone feels will soon be replaced with all of the fond memories he has left us. R.I.P. my friend. Blair and Glenna Flavel
Darcy, Darren, Derrick and family, saddened to hear of the passing of your father. I will always remember my first visit to your partners home. Meeting Zen and his his passion for all things Elvis. May he Rest In Peace with the love of his life.
RIP Zen! You were such a great guy and you will be missed by many! Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family!
We are so sorry to hear about the accident and subsequent sudden passing of Zen. We feel very fortunate to have been able to spend time with the entire family and Zenon and Adele. Our deepest and most sincere condolences to our dear friends Darren and Tammy and the entire family.
Dad you’ll be missed by so many. You always had such a lively spirit, which we loved that about you! Always telling us crazy stories about the past and doing your Elvis impersonations Always a good laugh. Darren has many fond memories in his younger years and he will hold onto them forever. When I first met you and Adele 25 years ago I thought to myself wow this is such a fun loving family. You were the best father-in-law a girl could ever wish for! Both of you and Adele welcomed my son and I into your lives like we were family all along and you treated my son like your own grandchild. I will never forget that. We always appreciated the help with our four son’s. If it wasn’t for you and Adele we would never have been able to go on any sort of trips together. You were both such engaged grandparents and we were always super appreciative of that. We both said to each other when we became grandparents we would do the same and we are following in your footsteps. This picture that’s posted with you on the motorcycle in your Elvis suit that Darren made for you. Is one of our fondest memories. You performed in the Regina Beach Parade that day. Darren beautifully decorated his truck/float and you asked me if I would drive the float in the parade. I was so honoured to be tasked with that job. You did your awesome performance on the float that day while your two nieces (Brandie & Tanya) and two of my girlfriends (Shannon & Jana) handed out Hawaiian leis to the audience! It’s a memory we will never forget! Not long ago you expressed to us your sorrow and how much you missed your wife. Well now you’re together again. You will be missed by so many but we know you’re at peace and pain free. We love you dad and we will miss you dearly. Tammy & Darren Yurkiw
We’re sincerely sorry for your loss. Elvis and Priscilla will be together again. RIP
