Messages of Condolence
My deepest condolences to Betty for the loss of your Mum. Rose was a very special person and a true force of nature. She loved with all her heart, the many programs she belonged to and devoted herself to helping others. I was so touch when she trusted me enough to take over the Al-Anon Peardonville Center Meetings. I know that was her baby, and it was very special to know she trusted me to follow in her footsteps. Rose’s life touched so many, she will be dearly missed by myself and many many others. Betty, may you find solace in your many happy memories with your Mom, and comfort in knowing she loved you with all her heart. Sincerely, your friend Susan Cousins ~ Susan Cousins
Though I did not know her long the impression she has left has been life changing. It has been an honor and privilege to get to know her and her daughter. My life has been enriched by knowing her. ~ Iris Harnett
Rose was a wonderful, funny, tough lady with a heart of gold. It was an absolute pleasure to be her hairstylist for many years. I will truly miss her and our conversations. My condolences to the family and may she shine her light from above!!❤ ~ Christy Statton
Our condolences to Betty on the loss of your Mom. Rose touched many people and was a loving and encouraging guide on our journey in recovery. She gave the best hugs! She always made us feel welcome and that she was happy to see us. We are challenged to "pass it on" and spread the love she shared with us. ~ Colleen & Edmund Giesbrecht
Some of my earliest memories are of Rose, as I have known her since childhood. She was my cousin. I know that her childhood was filled with the greatest possible love from her parents, my Uncle Rafie and Aunt Lizzie, two of the most sincerely warm-hearted people I've ever known. Rosie, as we called her, followed in their footsteps when it came to love, compassion, understanding, and support. She also continued their deep spiritual devotion. Rosie was an example of social responsibility, active involvement, accountability and responsibility - an example of a good life to all who knew her. My heart is sad for Betty. I hope that Rosie's spirit lifts hers, and leads her to continue with joy, a life full of meaningful action, love and example. ~ Christian Steckler
