In Memory of Angie Kelly

Our dear sister and Auntie Angie passed away peacefully on Saturday afternoon, March 12, 2022, just over a month before her 81st birthday.

 Angie had been a resident of Elim Village in Surrey for the past few years where she received personal care from a team of dedicated care givers.  Her health had gradually declined during the past six months and during her last week with us she was provided with palliative care.  During her last days her sisters Lauren, Heather and Pauline spent many hours at her bedside offering comforting thoughts and prayers.  Her brother John recorded a series of her favourite hymns that he sang and played on his guitar, and the sisters played the recordings to her and watched her smiles as she recognized the hymns.  Her passing has brought an end to many years of pain and suffering.  Angie has rejoined her husband Doug and her brother Glen.  

 She is survived by her son Rob, six sisters and brothers, six nieces and nephews and eight great nieces and nephews.

Today we remember Angie.

 The family will gather for a memorial service when the spring flowers attract butterflies once again.
