Daryl Clifford Aarsby
August 24th, 2011
Daryl Clifford (Tex) Aarsby was born on April 25, 1957 to Clarence and Norma Aarsby. He was raised on the family farm west of Carstairs and remained there for most of his life. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Lorraine, who has been his guardian angel for the last two years of his life while he struggled with a rare lung disease. She was his everything 24/7, best friend and caregiver. He has also left behind his two children, Cody and Stacey (Joe) and his precious grandchildren John and Carley. While he struggled to breathe you only had to mention them and his eyes would light up and he would tell you some cute things they had done. He is also survived by his dad, Clarence whose pain is unbearable having lost a second son, his sister Gwen (Brian), sister-in-law Dolores (Terry) Hehr and Lorraine’s family whom Daryl was very close to, mother-in-law Barb McClean, sister-in-law Marlene (Guy) Gjos, and brother-in-law Gord (Laurie) Botham. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Daryl was predeceased by his mother, Norma in 1985, his brother Rick in 1989, father-in-law Elmer in 2007 and his grandparents. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Rosebud Health Foundation, Box 962, Didsbury, Alberta T0M 0N0.
