Benita (Bunny) Gertrude Magee

On July 5th, 2011, Bunny passed away peacefully in Southwood Hospice, Calgary, Alberta. Although she will be missed by those who love her, they rejoice that she is reunited with her beloved husband, Willis, and is at peace with her Lord and Saviour. She is survived by her sister, Shirley Tonn, her five children; Dana Dyler, Erin Magee, Michael (Christine) Magee, Thomas (Colleen) Magee, Russell (Larissa) Magee, and her six grandchildren. She was born on March 30, 1935 in Vernon, B.C. Her family moved to Calgary in 1948 and she married Willis in 1956. A dedicated, loving wife and mother, Bunny was also respected in the community for her caring and giving nature. In 1993, Will and Bunny moved to Turner Valley for their Golden years. A celebration of Bunny’s life will be held Monday, July 11th, 2011, 2:00 pm at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 20 Banister Gate, Okotoks Alberta.
