Eileen Margaret Annie Schuler

Eileen passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the age of 94. Eileen was born in Bodmin, Saskatchewan in 1916, where she met and married Peter. They made the move to Vulcan, Alberta in 1948, where they set roots and raised their family before moving to Calgary in 1968. She will be remembered by her son, Gary (Gail) and her daughter Barb (Gary) and daughter-in-law Austie. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Eileen will also be missed by her devoted caregiver and niece, Bette Madaro and many other very special friends and relatives. Eileen was predeceased by her loving husband, Peter, her son David Schuler, her granddaughter Lyndsey, her great-granddaughter Madison and great-grandson Hayden.
Eileen’s family would like to thank the Beverly Unit 400 Staff, the MAU Staff and the Palliative Care Staff on Unit 73 at the Rockyview Hospital for their care.
A Celebration of her Life will be held at The Lounge, on the 3rd floor of the 3000 Building, Millrise Point SW, Calgary on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests all memorial tributes be directed to Samaritans Purse, 20 Hopewell Way NE, Calgary, Alberta T3J 5H5.
