Janet passed away on the evening of Friday, September 2, 2011 surrounded by her lovingfamily. Left to mourn are her husband of 39 years, David, son Khrys (Arif), daughtersFaye (Glen) and Jennifer (Mike) and grand-daughter Audrey. Jan was predeceased by her father Albert and survived by herMum (Grandma) May, brother Patrick (Elaine) and nieces and their families, all in Peterborough, UK. Jan’s voice was one of her joys and her singing soared in our home. When weather permitted she would be at her lifelong pursuit of gardening and last but most certainly not least, she lived for family gatherings – Jan’s devotion to her family was the tie that binds.
A gathering will be held at her home with friends and family on September 9th between 12:00 & 4:00 PM. Special heartfelt thanks to Dr. Bruce & Katherine Jespersen, Dr. J. Paul Ryan, the compassionate care from the Palliative Home Care nurses and at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre.
