I'm not sure there are any words that could describe Vern Watmough and do him justice. He was a caring man, with a love of life, loved to laugh and had a special love for his family. Vern, like his other siblings, were like brothers and sisters to me. I remember Vern helping me work on my first car, and how patient he was trying to explain just how the engine worked and believe me you had to have patience to explain that to me. There are some people in this life, that really make a difference. Vern was one of them. I don't think anyone that Vern touched throughout his life has anything but good story's to tell about Vern and the positive impact he made on their lives. I for one am fortunate to have known Vern and more so for being related to him. It was always great to see Vern in Arizona, or at family gatherings. That smile and sense of humour was always there. We'll miss you very much Vern, but we're all certainly better off for having had you in our lives.

Vern, we will all miss your quick wit and wonderful sense of humor. You were loved so much by your family and friends and you will live on forever in your children and your grandchildren as well as the beautiful memories you have created with us all. Memories like little Tessa telling me how you taught her to eat cookies in bed without getting crumbs all over. I could just picture it in my mind. When we were growing up you were always my cool big brother who could do anything. I love you and will miss you so much but I know you are happy up there in Gods heavenly kingdom with the rest of the family and friends that are already there.

To all of the family: Our hearts hang heavy as this world has lost an angel. Uncle Vern will be missed so much and we will always cherish the memories over the years... XOX
