Hugh passed away
peacefully in his sleep at the Interfaith Chinook Hospice on Tuesday morning
with his wife, Janet; his son, Anthony (Angie); son, David; granddaughter,
Breanne and adopted granddaughter, Deidre at his bedside. He is survived by his
brother, Richard (Sandy) in Arizona. He was a very proud father and a very
devoted grandpa to his grandchildren, Breanne, Deidre and Zachary. The family
requests that instead of flowers, donations in Hugh’s name be given to the KIDNEY
FOUNDATION, 6007 – 1A Street SW, Calgary, AB
T2H 0G5, or the Canadian Cancer Society, 200 – 325 Manning Rd. NE,
Calgary, AB, T2E 2P5. Our THANKS to all who stood by Hugh, assisted in caring for him during his illness, and the
many Doctors, Nurses, Home Care, Personal Care, and Staff Members at the
Interfaith Chinook Hospice who did everything in their power to make sure his
final days would be pain free, and extremely comfortable. Rest in Peace Hugh.
You will always be in our hearts and in the thoughts and prayers of everyone
who knew you. A Private Service will be held at a later date.
Anna and I wish to extend our deepest sympaties in the loss of Hugh, a much loved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Brother. Our thoughts are with you at this most trying time. Cameron Cox
