Messages:

I think of Bill often, and with great fondness. A very kind, thoughtful and considerate man, who is very much missed.

Bill, we are the ones left with a hole in our lives and all I can say is that I will miss our long chats about trains and sometimes life in general. You were always there with a zest for a challenge that was catching. Thanks for the time you gave me. Linda, my condolences in your lose and we all lost a true friend and gentleman.

Linda, We express our condolances with the passing on of Bill. It is so sad when someone so gentle and soulful passes away so young in life. We wish you peace and comfort in the days ahead. This is a great loss and it changes our lives forever. Hugs to you and all the little dogs. The Gillespies (neighbours)

My sincere sympathy to Linda & family on the passing of Bill. He was a very dear friend who will be greatly missed by those who had the good fortune to know him, including his broad network of co-workers, those with a love for the outdoors, those with whom he competed and those with an interest and passion for model railroading. Bill was an inspiration for many of us involved in model railroading - he had an eye for detail and a willingness to experiment and try new techniques. Monday nights will never be quite the same without Bill. Rest in peace, my friend. Bill Carr

Bill, I will miss you...I DO miss you Remember the sheer determination that got you through 50km in Wyoming and "don't you dare sit down" :-)

Sincere condolences from my family go to Bills family upon reading of his passing. Bill was quite possibly the most quietest and sincere person I've had the pleasure to share time with in the hobby of Model Railroading. The last time I talked to Bill was during SUPERTRAIN in April where I saw that he had some challenges ahead of him but he was courageous as always. He never lost his sense of humor during our visit. With his quiet voice and smile he said that this would probably be the last Model Railroad Show he would attend. Heaven has now acquired a top notch person that I've the pleasure to know. Bill and his family are in my thoughts, thanks for sharing him with us, Dale
