After 22 years of operating as Personal Alternative Funeral Services® and Alternatives Funeral & Cremation Services®, our Franchise Agreement has recently expired. Accordingly, we are now changing our name here in Trail to Clark’s Funeral Services.
To the many families we’ve served over the years, please know that we’re the same people, at the same address and the same phone number. The only thing that has changed is our name and website address. Our people, phone number and address remain the same.

It is with great
sadness that we announce the passing of Shelagh Mary Love at the age of 90
years. She was predeceased by her husband, Victor Clarence Love in August,
1993. Shelagh was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba and worked for the
Hudson’s Bay Company. After her marriage to Victor, they relocated to Regina,
and then Edmonton where they raised their four children. She is survived by her
children, Marcia Stansberry, Lorraine Bladon and David and Allan Love;
brothers, Doug and Partrick Gyles; grandchildren, Brenda Marrujo and Rhonda
Weckback as well as five great grandchildren. After her husband’s death, she
moved to De Winton, Heritage Point, to be closer to her children. In lieu of
flowers, contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation, 6007 – 1A Street
SW, Calgary, AB T2H 0G5. Many thanks to
the Unit 37 nurses and doctors at the Foothills Hospital who worked hard to
keep her comfortable during her time there.

We will miss you Grandma. I will miss our phone conversations, your awesome cinnamon toast that you would make for me when I would visit and having a great shopping buddy. Love you always!
Your Grandaughter,
Rhonda
