After 22 years of operating as Personal Alternative Funeral Services® and Alternatives Funeral & Cremation Services®, our Franchise Agreement has recently expired. Accordingly, we are now changing our name here in Trail to Clark’s Funeral Services.

On February 17, 2013, Gerald Schlyter passed away
peacefully at the age of 73. Gerry was a
35 year veteran of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, retiring in 1993 at the
rank of Sergeant. Gerry will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Winnie, of 49
years; his two children, Glen (Marie-Christine) and Karen and his three
grandchildren, Nathan, Francis and Julianne.
He was predeceased by his siblings, Russell, Dennis and Janice, and is
survived by siblings, Carl (Cathie), George, Robert (Joan), Patricia and sister-in-law
Clara (Bruno). A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, February 21,
2013. Donations can be made to the Calgary Foothills Medical Center, Coronary
Care, 1403 – 29 Street NW, Calgary, AB, T2N 2T9.
