Messages:

I worked with Faye at Parkdale Elementary. I remember her as a compassionate lady who always had a smile on her face. My condolences to your family and friends upon upon your loss.

We are sorry for your loss . . . wishing you the best . . . Randy and Pat

It was with great sadness that I read of the passing of my friend Faye. The world has lost a very warm-hearted, funny, and caring person. Faye loved to laugh and she loved people and enjoyed everyone she met (well almost everyone – wink, wink). She was always positive and friendly and liked to try new things – especially creative things. I still have some of the book marks that Faye made. We will miss Faye and her lively spirit in this life. My thoughts go out to you and your family George, during this time. Faye will have a warm spot in my heart always, I have never forgotten her nor you, who was her “partner in crime”. Not sure if you remember the Fabulous Four Group or not. It consisted of Faye, Bertha Vaness, Dagmar Bennett, and myself (Valerie Gower); we were all working friends at the Calgary Board of Ed. We all loved to laugh and eat and have a few drinks (sigh, another wink here); and we called ourselves the Fabulous Four! Faye, Bertha, Dagmar and I use to all meet for an evening of good food, good drinks, and lots of laughs every once in a while – usually every 6 months or so. Somehow we lost touch with each other – one never knows how that happens, but it does. I know that we all thought of each other occasionally, and even though Bertha was gone from us a long time ago and now Faye is gone too – that will not stop Dagmar and I from thinking of both for the wonderful people that they were. Remembering with Fondness, Laughter & Love, Valerie S. Gower, Member of the Fabulous Four Calgary, AB
