David Ulley

David Donald Edward Ulley of Airdrie, Alberta passed away peacefully in his home Thursday, April 4 2013, after a battle with cancer. David is survived by his wife, Annette (nee Stewart); his son, Devon; daughter, Amber; his mother, Joyce; brothers, Dean & Darrin (Terri); sister, Kim as well as nieces, nephews & many other relatives. David started his work life with 22 years in the Canadian Armed Forces 1977-1998; he started as a Metal tech then became a Non-Destructive Testing Tech. After the military he worked at Amoco, RTD Quality Services, Hyperion Tech Inc. and finally Jazz. David enjoyed motorcycling, camping, hunting, video gaming & many sports, as well as spending time with family & friends. Family, friends & co-workers are welcome to drop in & pay their respects at an informal reception that will be held at 1364 Meadowbrook Drive SE, his home in Airdrie, on Tuesday, April 9,  2013 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Donations to either the Cancer Society, 200, 325 Manning Rd. NE, Calgary, AB  T2E 2P5, or your local Animal Shelter are welcome in lieu of flowers.

Very sorry to hear of Dave's passing. I worked with Dave a short time at Jazz. We always talked about motorcycles between the three of us including Stephane. He will be sadly missed but, the suffing is over. Hopefully there is a place in the next life were he can enjoy his motorcycle! We will all eventually join him. Our thought's are with you and your family at this difficult time.

Sorry to hear about Dave's passing. We went to bootcamp together back in the day and serve with him in Moose Jaw. Sad day for us "retirees" Much too young to be gone. My condolences to the family!!

Our condolences. He will be deeply missed by family, friends and colleagues. We had the privilege of working with him for years in the aviation community in Calgary. A skilled technical lad, and one with outstanding ability to get along with all he worked with. Again out sincere condolences.

Lori and I send our deepest sympathy and condolences on the loss of your husband and father of your children Devon and Amber, hoping that your family and friends can be very close during this very difficult time supporting one another. I have worked with Dave while employed in the military and as the support Dave provided to me at Kelowna Flightcraft while he was employed at RTD. I loved golfing with Dave on his visits to the Okanagan Valley having many great memories of the last time Dave visited in August 2011, sitting on my deck in Lake Country, consuming my rum and looking after the (2) dogs while Lori and I worked, the memories of my friend Dave will always be cherished by both Lori and I, Lori enjoyed his conversation, I enjoyed the golf and friendship, he was a great golfer, a great NDT technician and a great friend, we will always miss you David you are now resting at peace with the Lord
