On Monday, April 6, 2015 with her family by her side, the Lord reached for Audrey’s hand and took her home after a courageous battle with Alzheimers. Audrey was born on October 24, 1926 in Calgary, Alberta. She grew up in a home on Scotchman’s Hill. Audrey was a beloved wife and friend to her husband, Allen, for 48 years. Audrey leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Barbara Nanne; her grandchildren, Jason Benson (Allyson), Ryan Benson, Karin Benson (Spencer), and Christian Stackard; son-in-law, Douglas Nanne; great grandchildren, Kayla Kilpatrick, Warner Benson, Alayna Audrey Berry and Daxton Berry; sister-in-law, Patricia Van Der Zouwen; and brother-in-law, William Baldwin; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Audrey was predeceased by her parents, Nellie and Ivor Price; siblings Bert Price (late Rae), Jack Price (late Alma), Evelyn Price, Leslie Hand (Lloyd), Edward Price (Jane) and David Price (Michelle).
The family would like to thank the staff of McKenzie Towne Care Centre for the care given to Audrey through her final days. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, 1407 - 7th Ave NW, Calgary, AB on Monday, April 27, 2015 at 1:00 pm.
