Born in Chopwell, England on March 6, 1946, Foster Eggleston passed away peacefully on Friday, May 13, 2016 after a long and courageous battle with lung and heart disease. Foster is lovingly remembered by his wife of 47 years, Angela; children, Linda (Jeff) Bauer, Claire (Ken) Stockton, and Ian Eggleston; grandchildren, Kelsey (Darryl) Gyarmati, Matthew (Chloe) Jaenen, Alexander Bauer, Nathan Bauer and Liam Stockton; great grandchildren, Krystopher Gyarmati, Carter Jaenen and Emma Jaenen; his sisters, Marlene Horlington and Aileen (Michael) Dixon; his brother, Alan (Janet) Denny; numerous nieces and nephews as well as other family and close friends. Foster was predeceased by his parents, Foster and Jane Eggleston; his brother, Donald and his nieces, Angie and Beverly. Foster enjoyed good road trips and camping and would spend his time with a good Louis L ’Amour novel. He had a very large personality which made him memorable to all who met him. Foster’s family invite all who knew him to join in celebrating his life at the Balzac Hall, Balzac, AB on Friday, May 20, 2016 at 2:00 pm.
