Jocelyn Maureen Grant, 56, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She will be sadly missed by her husband, John Grant; her son, Patrick; daughter, Alissa (Brian) Wulf of California; and her grandchildren, Ethan, Seth, Isabella and Elliot. She is survived by her father, Bill Turner; brothers, David (Meena) Turner, Mike (Suzie) Turner of Ottawa; her sisters, Joanne (Dean) Turner of Strathmore and Mary Ellen. She was predeceased by her natural parents, Joseph Roderick Flynn and Lois Elizabeth Fletcher; her mother, Mary Theresa Turner; and her sister, Melody Flynn. Jocelyn will forever be remembered for her positive outlook on life and as an inspiration to us all. Her smile, laughter and kindness will be missed by those who knew her.

A Celebration of Jocelyn’s Life will be held at Cambrian Heights Baptist Church, 240 Cardiff Drive NW, Calgary, AB on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Please wear bright colours and a smile, in keeping with Jocelyn’s wishes.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Salvation Army (Southern Alberta), 3060 – 17 Avenue SW, Calgary, AB, T3E 7G8 or a charity of your choosing. Condolences may be left for the family at www.myalternatives.ca.
