Marion Joyce Arcand

Marion Joyce Arcand, age 80, passed away peacefully at the Rocky View General Hospital on Friday, October 12, 2018. Joyce was a long-time resident of Airdrie, who moved to the then small town in the 60’s with her husband Dan and 6 children. She is survived by her children, Christine, Virginia, Laura (Dean), Joanne, and Ken Arcand; brothers, Richard, Len, and Edward. Joyce had many pleasures in life such as dancing, picnics, BBQ’s, garage sales, BINGO and watching curling. But her most precious gifts were given to her by her children. Joyce loved being a grandmother, and she will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Melissa (Jason), Daniel (Rei), Elizabeth (Ian), Joseph, Eric, Keisha, Leah, Sam, and her 8 great-grandchildren. A Come and Go Celebration to remember Joyce will be held at the Golden Rod Community Hall, AB-772, Balzac, Alberta on Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 1-3pm.
