Harvey Baumann
September 7th, 2019
1937-2019
It is with great sadness that the family of Harvey Baumann announce his passing, on Saturday, September 7, 2019 just a few days shy of his 82nd birthday. Harvey will be lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend of 57 years, Ruth; and his children, Brian (Susan) Baumann, Charlotte (Kirby) Pardely, and Diane Gregory. He was a much-loved grandfather to Zach, Joel, Troy, Sarah and Nathan.
Following his retirement, Harvey enjoyed spending summers at home in Airdrie and travelling during the winter. Mesa, Arizona, was one of his favourite places, and he and Ruth made many friends and lasting memories during their 20 years there.
A Celebration of Life in memory of Harvey will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at Woodside Seniors Club, 411 Woodside Drive, Airdrie, Alberta. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Canada, 16812 114 Ave NW Suite 100, Edmonton, AB T5M 3S2 (www.muscle.ca), or the Airdrie Food Bank 20 East Lake Way, Airdrie, AB T4A 2J3 (www.airdriefoodbank.com).
