Edna Anderson
May 7th, 2020
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Edna Anderson at Drumheller Health Centre Continuing Care on Thursday, May 7, 2020. Edna was a longtime resident of the Valley. She was known for her dry sense of humour, her green thumb and her love of the Toronto Maple Leafs (that she would never admit). Edna was always very involved in St. Magloire’s Anglican Church and worked at East End School as librarian often speaking fondly of her time there. Edna is survived by son, Charlie (Louise); son, Fred; grandchildren, Christeen, Kim and William; brother, Jack Elkes (Pat) and their children, Marty and Jill. The family would like to extend a very special thanks to the staff of Sunshine Lodge where Mom spent many happy years; and to the staff of Continuing Care where she spent her last years.
