Audrey Elizabeth Henry

Audrey Elizabeth - late of Abbotsford BC, and formerly of Regina, passed away at the Langley Hospice at 82 years of age on March 19, 2013. Audrey is predeceased by her parents, Allan and Lydia (Lanz) Bray of Yellow Grass SK and her husband George ‘Joe’ Henry of Regina. Audrey is survived by her four children, Nancy (Glen) Styles, Weyburn SK, Marion Henry and Thomas (Doris) Henry, Regina and James (Tara) Henry, Langley BC. Audrey is also survived by 7 grandchildren; Greg (Christa), Sharon (Marty), Lisa (Ryan), Jenifer (Nathan), Nick, Zach and Georgia. She leaves 6 great grandchildren, Andrew, Anna, Ayden, Liam, Leo, and Victoria. There were three special great granddaughters of her heart, Sidney, Emmy and Brittany.
Audrey spent her high school years in Grenfell SK, then went to the Regina General Hospital, where she earned her Diploma in Nursing and worked as a Registered Nurse in both acute and long term care. Audrey finished her career on the surgical floor at the Pasqua Hospital.
Audrey retired to Abbotsford BC in 1989 especially to enjoy the climate and really loved the rain. She enjoyed trips with her cousins and returned to Saskatchewan every year to visit family.
A celebration of Audrey’s life will be held in BC at a date to be announced. Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 5, 2013 at 11:00 am, at Sharon United Church, 21562 Old Yale Road, Langley. Lunch to follow at Jim Henry's house.
Her Cremated remains will be interred with her parents in Yellow Grass SK this summer. You are invited to leave a personal message of condolence for the family.
