Michiko Terao Imada

April 23rd, 2013

Born in 1940 in Hiroshima, Japan.  It is with great sadness to announce that our mother peacefully passed away on April 23, 2013.  She fought a courageous battle with cancer.  Mom immigrated to Canada when she was 19 years old.

She had a special talent with numbers and became a good entrepreneur.  Mom worked hard.  She provided and took great care of her family.  Survived by sister Sadako; children Joyce (Will), Mike (Deb), and Tim; grandchildren Liam, Emily, and Neil.

Special thanks to Kelly, Ken and family, Nancy, and Mrs. Kawamoto for keeping her spirits high.  Special thanks to friends who supported us through this journey with mom.  Thank so much to all the doctors, nurses, and staff at the North Vancouver and Surrey caner clinics, Revera Home Health, and Laurel Place Hospice for helping our mom with such loving care.

No service by request.  We will miss you mom, Dad will be happy to see you again.  Rest in Peace.
