Ann Martin

On October 21st, Ann passed away quietly at the age of 86 during a brief stay at Peace Arch Hospital. She is predeceased by her husband, Cecil and son, Andrew. A loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by daughter Judy, and sons Philip, David (Marilyn), and Peter (Susan).

Ann was born in Southampton in 1931, and was one of millions of children evacuated from London in Operation Pied Piper during the Second World War. She immigrated to Canada with her husband and young family in 1954, eventually settling in Langley. She worked for many years in food service at Trinity Western University before retiring to White Rock and enjoyed travelling back to England to visit family and friends. Ann will be dearly missed by her family, including 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service was held and she is interred at Langley Lawn Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society suggested, in lieu of flowers. www.cancer.ca.
