Robert Harris Braem

It is with profound sadness that the family of Robert H Braem announces his peaceful passing on Saturday December 3rd, 2022, at the age of 75 years.
 
He will be lovingly remembered by daughter, Boni-Lin Braem, brother, Terry Braem, brother-in-law, Richard Gladwin, as well as numerous relatives and friends. He will also be fondly missed by the staff at Minoru Residence in Richmond BC. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Evelyn Braem, and sister, Stievey Gladwin (Braem).
 
Robert (aka Rob) was well known for his talents in music as he often joined his closest friends at numerous nights in the Vancouver karaoke community. He enjoyed volunteering for the Burnaby Heritage Museum and worked for many years in numerous fields including tourism, public transit, aviation fueling, and as a Commissionaire at Vancouver International Airport.
 
Robert was also a two-time survivor of Cancer in the neck, as well as the heart. He will be cremated by Alternative Funeral Services. The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at the Minoru Senior Residences for their care and compassion, as well as to Alternate Funeral Services for their careful care and support.
 
In lieu of flowers, it is the family’s wish to have donations sent to the Canadian Cancer Society in Robert Braem’s memory. A date for a “Celebration of Life” will be set for Spring 2023.
