It's been a very long time my brother. I left New West many years ago before Google. I have found myself thinking about you ( Mark) and the rest from Sapperton many times today I had a chance to Google your name. Rest in peace buddy. All the best to his family.

Mark I still cant believe you are gone. I will always miss running into you randomly around town. We have been friends for so long I wish I hadnt let you leave that morning if I had only known. Rest in peace my friend you are missed

My heart goes to the Berry Family my deepest condolences. My husband Brian and his brother Jeff grew up with Mark in Sapperton as kids, I later had the pleasure meeting Mark when my family moved to NW. The Holloways as do I have lots of very fond memories of Mark. Even though we grew apart as we grew older and Brian and I had children he would still call every once in a while to say hi and check up on us. He was a man with a tremendous heart. He will be missed he truly had an impact on the world around him. Rest in Peace our Buddy our friend.

My thoughts are with Mark's family in Canada and in England. I remember babysitting with Aunty Elaine when Mark was very young. We always commented on his likeness to Uncle Arthur. RIP Mark, God Bless Lynn xx

With a heavy heart... you leave behind the memories of a guy with the best laugh and beautiful brown eyes. Mark Winston Berry you were one of a kind! Where ever you go, know that you for ever hold a special place in so many hearts <3

I would like to extend my heart felt sadness for Mark's family and loved ones. I was fortunate enough to have grown up with Mark since we were all little trouble makers in New Westminster. Mark was one of those rare souls who could care deeply for so many people and stop everything he was doing if you were in need of his help. Yes at times our choices were those of under developed maturity, yet the hearts were in the right place. He could make you laugh when you really needed to be cheered up, as well as give a stern talking to those who needed to smarten their acts up.I was with him on many of those care free days as well as some of the longer days too. Mark played with my children as if they had their own connection that was special and playful with genuine love in his heart. Mark you were stolen far to soon and we all will be the lesser for your passing, yet richer for having the luxury of knowing you as long as we did. See you again one day my brother from another mother.

My condolences to Marks family. Mark...although I only met you a few times it was not hard to notice how large your heart was. You have such a large network of friends and family as proven by the large out pour over your life being cut far to short. You will be missed by many but do me a favor and say Hi to Tommy, Corey and Rodney as I am positive they were there to greet you. Your memory will live on in all who loved you rest in peace my friend.

Sorry to hear about Marks passing he was a good guy he was always nice to me

I knew Mark from High School we use to hang in the same crowd. Mark always had a great sense of humor and could make you smile no matter how bad whatever it was seemed. Last year I was told that the breast cancer I had has spread to my bones and he was one of the first friends from my teenage days to message me with comforting words. I am so sorry for your loss Mark was one of a kind. See you on the otherside my friend.

My memories of Mark are when he used to meet me on his bike from work, I worked at the chemist, and my manager would say,"who are you waiting for mark" he would say "my auntie lane", and off we would go together, back home, he was all of 3 years old, it was only a minute away, every time his mom would say don't do it again, but there he was my little soldier.I have lots of happy memories of you Mark, you have been in my thoughts over the years, never forget you, and always love you.Your lovely happy smile, with your wavy brown hair and blonde highlights. Goodnight Mark. Auntie Elaine and Family. xx

I will miss Mark! He was really a love. Mark was like another kid to me. A friend of my daughters from their school days and came to my home, often for a bite to eat. We spent his last Thanksgiving in my home for a turkey dinner. That kid had a good appetite! If we only knew that it was the last time we would see him, I would have hugged him even harder. He just hugged me that day for a long time and I will miss that big heart of his! I wish there was a stairway to heaven, so we could go and get him. The only consolation that any of us can have, is that no one can ever hurt him again. Rest in Peace, my son from another mother! God speed Mark and my condolences to all of his family, especially his parents and siblings. I am sorry for his loss to sooooo many of his friends as well. Your departure will leave a hole in all of our hearts and you can rest, knowing that your family and friends will help to seek out those responsible for your passing and we will not rest until the person(s) are found. You were very loved Mark. We will meet again!

Mark was a great guy I knew him from working in the Garbage industry. My heart goes out to his family and friends he will be missed. I remember Mark rollerblading to work in the mornings , then go to work for 8 to 10 hours then rollerblade back home he was always smiling and had a great way of making people laugh the world is a darker place without you my friend

From your family in England we remember you well as a child a big smile big brown eyes and lovely highlighted curly hair. Rest in peace Mark in our hearts you will always stay loved and remembered every day.
