Shirley Jean Bryan

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Shirley Jean Bryan. Shirley was a very loving and caring mother to her sons Reid (Jody), Gregory (Lori) and Cameron. She adored and cherished her four grandchildren. Shirley will also be sadly missed my many family and friends. Shirley was predeceased by her husband Jack Bryan and her son Gregory Crozier.
Shirley’s generous and caring nature extended beyond her family and friends while she devoted 23 years of her long nursing career to the Alberta Children’s Hospital. Shirley’s family invite you to join them in a Celebration of Shirley’s Life at her home, 404, 4500 – 39 Street NW, Calgary on Saturday November 26, 2011 between the hours of 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm.

I first met Shirley when I was 24, a new OT and new to Calgary. Shirley took me under her wing and became my Calgary mom, making sure I was dressed warmly and eating well, as I headed out with Mobile Team at the Alberta Childrens Hospital each day. Shirley always kept in touch over the years and took a great interest in how my 4 children were doing as they grew up. I was fortunate to be able to spend a wonderful lunch with Shirley recently and reminise our years together. I will miss her dearly. Love Laurie
